When people are in trouble, they turn to Jason Resnick for help. He provided it for years as an Emergency Medical Technician and firefighter; now, he’s ready to help his fellow citizens in the Chapin and Irmo communities by serving them on the Lexington County Council.
Jason’s journey to the Midlands began in New Jersey. Two decades ago, the opportunity to work with the Lexington County Public Safety/Emergency Medical Service brought him to South Carolina. For 13 years, he worked with various agencies in the area.
In 2006, while still a full-time emergency medical technician, he entered the private sector when he founded JJ Rez, a concrete construction company. It taught Jason the vitally important role small businesses play in growing a prosperous local economy. Nine years later, business was so good Jason decided to grow his company and focus on it full-time.
In 2013, Jason met South Carolina native and speech pathologist Lindsay Brown. They married in 2019. Lindsay works for Lexington County School District One and at Moonbug Therapy.
